Android 14 Beta 3#
To quote a paragraph from the official website, this version is already quite stable and does not have major bugs that render the phone unusable.
Beta 3 brings Android 14 to platform stability, which means that developer APIs and all app-facing behaviors are now final for you to review and integrate into your app. Thank you for all your ongoing feedback that helped us reach this milestone.
So here I will introduce how to flash your phone with Android 14.
Pixel Series#
OTA Method#
If you, like me, use a Pixel series phone, you can directly go to the official website and join the beta program.
First, open the website: https://www.google.com/android/beta#devices, then select the device you want to join, and click the Opt in button.
After agreeing to various terms, click Confirm and enroll.
When it becomes a checkmark style, it means that you have successfully joined.
Then search for updates in the phone settings, and you will find the Android 14 update.
Flash Method#
If you want to install a fresh Android 14, you can consider using the "Android Flash Tool" for a clean flash.
- Enable developer options.
- Unlock OEM: Enable OEM unlocking in the Developer options menu. If your bootloader is already unlocked, this option will be grayed out and display "Bootloader is already unlocked".
Start Flashing

Connect your device directly to your development machine (without a hub, adapter, extender, or monitor).

Open https://flash.android.com/welcome in a browser on your development machine and click Get Started.

Accept ADB permission in the browser popup: Allow site access to your ADB keys in order to communicate with devices.

Click Add new device.

Select your device from the list and click Connect. The list may not include the complete device name.

On your device screen, select Always allow from this computer and click to accept the USB debugging connection.

Select the connected device in the browser.

Search and select the desired build from the list. You can also choose options such as erasing the device or forcing a refresh of all partitions.

Click Install to start the process. The device will restart and enter fastboot mode.

Disconnect the device from the USB cable after Flash Complete appears.
